    Ideas for the number wheel

    • Raffles and prize draws: give each ticket a number, spin, and remove each winner so nobody wins twice.
    • Classroom: call on a student by register number, choose a page of the textbook, or set the number of push-ups in PE.
    • Games: decide how many spaces to move, how many cards to draw, or who goes first.
    • Workouts: spin for reps or the number of minutes for the next round.

For a list of names instead of numbers, use the custom wheel spinner. To split a group into sides, try the random team generator.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I change the number range?

Type the lowest and highest numbers into the From and To boxes and press Apply. The wheel fills with every whole number in that range.

What is the largest range I can use?

The wheel holds up to 500 numbers, such as 1 to 500. Labels get small with very large ranges, but the result window always shows the picked number clearly.

Can I pick numbers without repeats?

Yes. After each spin, press "Remove from wheel" in the result window. That number is taken off, so it can't come up again, which is perfect for raffles and bingo-style draws.

    Is every number equally likely?

Yes. Every slice is the same size and the winner is chosen with a cryptographically secure random number generator, so each number has the same chance.

Can I use negative numbers or a custom list?

Negative ranges work, for example -10 to 10. For non-consecutive numbers such as 5, 10, 25 and 50, type them straight into the entries box, one per line.
